Hogsmeade

Our main reason for going to Universal was to go to Harry Potter land. It was supposed to be fantastic, so while we were in Florida, we went to check it out.

Entering Harry Potter land, first you went to Hogsmeade, which is the town from the movies.

This magical train is how the kids go to school from the human world
Although it was over 100* F that day, there was snow in Hogsmeade!
Here we are, just getting off the train!
This is the magic gag shop of the town. There were lots of fun things to play with in here.
Honeydukes was the candy shop, and boy, it was hard not to shop in here. Smelled so good!

The 2 broomsticks is the local pub and restaurant
They had a yummy menu, but we didn't have time to eat here
Snowy rooftops
Inside the 3 Broomsticks
This Hog came to life, grunting and squealing.
Olivanders was one of my favorites. It was the wand shop, and Robb and I got our own wand to take home!

This is a golden snitch used in the popular game Quidditch.
Snowman!
Dervish and Banges is a shop in Hogsmeade that sells and repairs magical instruments and other supplies
Love the chimneys!
This was a wand demonstration
They had SO many different wands. One for everyone!

Singing frogs and students
This was a Hippogriff ride. See him sitting in his nest?
And of course, here's Hagrid house!
