One of my favorite pizzas to date!

Oh my gosh! So I'm standing in Heinens, wondering what in the world kind of pizza to make, and there it was! Mac n Cheese! Now, what goes with Mac n Cheese? Hot Dogs!!!

This pizza may look incredibly high calorie and fatty, but I ended up buying some high quality ingredients so the pizza would be reasonable. It's made with whole wheat pizza dough, organic hot dogs, organic whole wheat mac n cheese, Newman's organic alfredo sauce, and low fat all nautral mozzarella cheese! I'm telling you, this pizza was unbelievable! The "real" hot dogs and mac n cheese made it phenomenal! This is really one of my best inventions I've ever had! Just look...

One of my FAVORITE foods!

Although not topping my favorite food S'mores, Wild Maine Blueberries sure are tasty little things! If you haven't had them, I encourage you to seek out Wymans blueberry products. They sell juice (at BJ's), and frozen blueberries (at Heinen's). Just a sip or bit, will make you understand why these are so very superb! In my opinion, they are more flavorful, and tastier than our regular grocery store variety. I sprinkle them in my oatmeal in the mornings to remind myself of Maine, before I go to work in stupid Cleveland for the day. Wild Blueberries are a cousin to our grocery store variety, high bush blueberry, and are a different low bush wildly growing plant. They are literally everywhere in Maine. Last May, I saw the flowers of the plant, that look like little white-but-blueish-tinted, bells. They are harvested with an "Edward Scissorhands" tool that scrapes the berries off of the plant. They are all still hand harvested. Really not much beats a fresh thick Maine blueberry pie! Or blueberry pancakes, with blueberry syrup. Or blueberry muffins, with blueberry juice. Or wild blueberry beer! I think every day in Maine, I tried to get something blueberry because of how amazing the taste is. Blueberry ice cream at Brown's is really one of my favorite things on Earth.
Eating our double scoop Brown's ice cream, Robb: blue moon, me: half wild blueberry (already gone) and half ginger.

So, I'm a big fan of Wild Maine Blueberries. I'm a member of the Wild Blueberry Association, and would like to welcome their blog to our blog. (Go all the way to the bottom of the blog, and click on the link.) I'm so glad for Wild Blueberries!!

BLT

This is not the pizza from this Pizza Friday. I was looking at this memory card to find the pictures of my Valentine's Bear, and how could I not show this pizza!?! This is a BLT pizza, which was inspired by a pizza I used to get when I worked at the florist. There was this little pizza shop down in the strip mall down the street. They used to make all these specialty pizzas and were so good! For the life of me, I can't remember the name of it and it was only open the few years I worked at the florist. Here's our rendition of the BLT pizza, really, really, really, really, really fabulous!
Note the new "pan pizza".Sauce: Mayonnaise mixed with Italian seasonings.Baked with Roma tomatoes and fresh organic bacon.Topped with fresh lettuce! Delicious!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Robb and I celebrated Valentine's Day by going out to eat Saturday night. We went to our favorite restaurant, Melt, all to find out that they are way too popular now that they were on the Food Network! When we got there at 8, they had a 3 hour wait! So not fair! So instead we went to Johnny Mangos, which was very good, but just not the same. :o( We'll try again for my birthday, and this time go at 4 so we can eat by 7.

The next day we went to Ikea to buy our basement lights (how romantic), and got home so late that we just picked up "Chin Goda" (Chin's Pagoda) for dinner and went to sleep.

We still didn't do our gifts to eachother, so last night (Monday) we finally did. I gave Robb some socks, long underware pants, and a long underware shirt. He gave me a cute brown teddy bear, a chocolate rose, some chocolate covered fortune cookies, gumballs, and some conversation hearts! Yummy!

I'll put pictures of my new bear on later tonight, but now I'm back to the "snow" theme. We only have like a month left to have winter!! Come on sky!

Valentine's Background

When I saw this background, it was just perfect! It (whether the designer knows it or not) is a lyric from a wonderful song by Sarah McLauchlan, called "Ice Cream..."

Your love is better than ice cream
Better than anything else that I've tried
And your love is better than ice cream
Everyone here know how to fight

And it's a long way down
It's a long way down
It's a long way down to the place
Where we started from...

Your love is better than chocolate
Better than anything else that I've tried
Oh love is better than chocolate
Everyone here knows how to cry

It's a long way down
It's a long way down
It's a long way down to the place
Where we started from...

I love this song, and always think about my Honey! Really, I love ice cream and chocolate (and my dog and kitties), but I love Robb the most!!
